Dexter Guerrieri addressed the current NYC townhouse market in detail. He discussed the recent change in average sales price, remarked on the incredibly strong start we’ve seen in 2013, and informed attendees about noteworthy sales across Manhattan.
Next, luxury closet designer Melanie Charlton showed us how she and her firm, Clos-ette, bring dormant unused space back to life with her trademarked holistic design. She also had some fabulous ideas on maintaining historic character while repurposing townhouse-specific spaces for storage.
Finally, Christopher Peacock wowed the crowd with his custom kitchen designs. He explained how to choose quality materials, how not to over-design, and how to make a small kitchen seem bigger using simple techniques.
The Q and A session was terrific – the speakers were still answering questions over wine and cheese an hour later.
