The 2013 spring selling season is continuing into the hot weather. This week at Vandenberg, we had three signed contracts in one day.
All three listings are Vandenberg exclusives: 159 West 88th Street, 145 West 87th Street, and 338 West 15th Street.
This level of activity is extremely rare for June, and I personally find it very encouraging. The best indicator of the strength of the market is not the number of new listings but the amount of bidding and signing that’s going on. And as I mentioned at the Market Seminar last week, 2013 is proving to be a strong year by that standard, and only getting stronger as the year progresses.
