Vandenberg is Proud to Sponsor Preservation Volunteers

July 24th through August 6, 2016, four wonderful volunteers worked at Conference House Park on Staten Island and historical Green-Wood Cemetery in Brooklyn. Their projects included reglazing and restoring windows on the Visitor’s Center at Conference House, as well as headstone balancing and waxing the famous “Angel of Music” sculpture that marks Louis Moreau Gottschalk’s grave at Green-Wood. In addition to their projects volunteers also participated in events at the Museum of Tibetan Art on Staten Island and spent their free time exploring the famous cultural and tourist sites of New York City.
